2018 – 2019 National Impact Report
Compiled by EVERFI’s research team, the National Impact Report provides an analysis of data from more than 151,727 students who completed the Prescription Drug Safety curriculum in the 2018 – 2019 academic year. Overall, the findings show that the course positively impacted students’ knowledge, attitudes and behaviors regarding prescription drug safety.
National highlights include:
- After completing the course, 3 out of 4 students said they knew how to read a prescription drug label effectively.
- More than 90% of teachers surveyed say the course effectively taught their students about prescription drug safety and that the course was an easy fit into their standard curriculum.
- 78% of teachers surveyed say the course covers content their students would not have otherwise seen.
